Good Day in the Markets

Had a good day in the markets today, but so did everyone I think. I'm getting really frustrated with 0% interest rates. I have to keep my CD from renewing at 1.15%. Ridiculous. Good article called Is the Stock Market a Scam?

Investing for Beginners

So as someone who is a pretty much self-taught investor I'm always on the lookout for resources that could have helped a younger me. This page on books for investing beginners is great. Nice and simple and gives you two options with which I agree.

Why I'm Making this Blog

So, I have some expertise in Internet Marketing and what not, so you may be wondering why I'm making a blog that clearly violates all the tenets of good blogging. The obvious problem is that I'm covering such a wide variety of subjects, no one could be interested. Well the primary reason is that I'm doing it for a journal. It also doubles as an easy way for my friends to keep up with me.

You might suggest that Facebook would be a better venue for this, but I find that the idea of simply making a blog is somewhat appealing. I want to WRITE not NETWORK. So I'm writing this blog and if you're reading it, you're probably bored already but I appreciate your forbearance.
